“Am I the only one who believes there’s no way our Keith is in love with someone?” Sitting cross-legged, head in his hand, Lance pouts while twirling a screwdriver. It’s been almost two weeks and he is nowhere closer to figuring out Keith’s mystery crush than he was on day one.
“Probably,” Hunk answers, half listening as he dives back into his tool box for a wrench or pliers or something to fix whatever he and Pidge have been fussing over for the past week.
“What if it’s you?” Lance says it half joking, half not because he’s been through practically everyone on their team and even some of their allies and still sees nothing. But it’s Hunk’s bark of laughter that startles him as he finally sets his full, undivided attention on Lance to say,
“It’s not me he’s in love with.”
(Or, an alien priestess curses Keith to confess to the one he loves and Lance is determined to find out who this mystery person is)

It’s a matter of principle, Lance decides. Keith said he’d be here, so he should be here, not trapped in some cold, damp, abandoned bunker, on Christmas.
So what if Keith doesn’t like the tinsel and lights; Lance was going to get slightly tipsy on nunvil with him and talk.

When a last minute mission leaves Keith stranded in an abandoned Galra base over Christmas, the team agrees to postpone their rescue til after the party. Desperate to spend Christmas with Keith, Lance ignores procedure and embarks on his own rescue operation. But when things go sideways, he may be the only one able to reach Keith in time to save his life. Oh, and in time for Christmas.

Summary
When Lance is captured by the Galra, the rest of the crew finds him quickly - alive, but unconscious. The team tries everything they can think of to wake him up, but find that the only way to do it is to project another’s consciousness into Lance’s. Keith volunteers, and dives into Lance’s headspace, with only the instruction to bring Lance back with him. But when Keith finds himself getting sucked into the fantasy that Lance has built, he not only has to figure out how to drag Lance out of la la land, but he now has to hold on to the memory of another world - the real world - that is suddenly slipping through his fingers.

I am 100% convinced that Shiro already knew Lance's name when they were introduced to each other and shook hands after the team rescued him during his crash landing on earth because Keith would always ramble on & on about him 24/7 when they were all still at the Garrison.
