“Great as usual, Manfred,” North says with a grin that mirrors his own. Josh and Simon’s faces have twin expressions of pride, and the three of them shepherd Markus towards the dressing room as quickly as possible, which results in the pianist nearly tripping on a bouquet of flowers right in front of the door.
“This is certainly new,” North crows, sweeping the bouquet up. “Who would’ve guessed our Markus here would get flowers. And there’s a note!”

Summary
Sova is a vampire who doesn't care to kill humans. While he and his companions have spent years devising alternate hunting methods, an influx of new, reckless vampires have decided not to follow such paths and kill as they please. As a result, causes the majority of the town to disappear once the sun sets, and deprives Sova of his his favorite method of obtaining human blood: charming local men.
Just as his hunger is beginning to get the best of him, Sova comes across a handsome, unsuspecting tourist wandering about in the dead of night. Charming, alluring, everything Sova could ever ask for. The only trouble is, he can't bring himself to bite such a lovely neck. The situation had gotten so dire that there was currently a six digit cumulative sum of credits riding on who would say it first, when it would be said, and other such wagers. So, in the interest of winning said bets, some agents started to scheme up ways to force the outcome. Such began operation SOMBER.
