Summary
And truly, if Sova had desires, everyone would be none the wiser. The man prided himself on his self-control, and his perfectionism was as much a boon as it was a bane. It was often challenging for Cypher to determine exactly when Sova needed something. The reverse was also true of course, but that was neither here nor there. Slowly, but surely, they were both getting better at exposing their hearts, which had become fragile after scars left by past traumas and failures.
So indeed, there were such times when his emotionally constipated lover would open up to him without Cypher needing to needle and prod. Apparently, today was one of those rare times, though Cypher hadn’t realised it until there was a large hand in his pants cupping him over his briefs.

Cypher inhaled shakily as the imagery of Sova underneath him with a blindfold covering his pretty mismatched eyes flashed into his brain, and he knew his mind was already made up.
Or: Sova proposes that he wears a blindfold while they have sex so that Cypher can take his mask off. Cypher thinks that's a REALLY good idea.

So he follows Cypher like a dog after its owner, largely unaware of the specifics of his surroundings. They bump shoulders as they walk, neither trying to maintain any distance from the other. Sova doesn’t really know how to feel about it, so he doesn’t feel anything about it at all. It’s nice. It’s certainly not what he expected to happen when he left the party however long ago. Maybe he does not mind Cypher’s company as much as he used to.

Summary
Sova is a vampire who doesn't care to kill humans. While he and his companions have spent years devising alternate hunting methods, an influx of new, reckless vampires have decided not to follow such paths and kill as they please. As a result, causes the majority of the town to disappear once the sun sets, and deprives Sova of his his favorite method of obtaining human blood: charming local men.
Just as his hunger is beginning to get the best of him, Sova comes across a handsome, unsuspecting tourist wandering about in the dead of night. Charming, alluring, everything Sova could ever ask for. The only trouble is, he can't bring himself to bite such a lovely neck.
