    Summary

title of this fic is Ptolemaea by Ethel Cain

Fyodor said, tilting his head to the side. Dazai took the blade from his neck, and brought it near his lower abdomen. With a look of realization Fyodor chuckled lowly, narrowing his eyes.

“Carrying a part of me with you forever won’t save you from damnation.”

Dazai averted his gaze, shrugging he let out a heavy sigh.

    “Then I’ll be damned.”

Everything he despised about himself, it was housed in Dostoyevsky. He should be glad with the fact he was finally able to carry out this execution, but he too reflected his intelligence, the only other person to match such wit. They were both lonely because of such characteristics and they found solace in their mutual suffering.

    Summary

Fyodor backstory I wrote this is my interpretation of it and I’ll be posting chapters as I go.

    -

“What good will that do for humanity, can you show me that my countless deaths won’t be in vain? That they won’t be forgotten? That at least?”

He asked one final time, holding his rosary tightly in his hands before letting out a shaky sigh. It was clear that he just had to have faith in God, that was the basis of all of this. Everything is in Gods will, he just has to trust that he will not be killed for just any reason. He frowned. How come when he prayed he felt like he was just screaming his troubles into a void, was nothing listening? What was this? Why did he resurrect if not a work of God. It didnt make sense, confusion tainted his mind.

    “Amen.”

He muttered lowly, taking his rosary and placing it back in his drawer. He grabbed his small wooden cross, placing it beneath his pillow. He wiped his tears, a cloud of alienation surrounded him, as no one would stay awake with him, no matter his divinity. In these hours of the night, it was him; and The Lord.

    Summary

based of the theory that fyodor will take over nikolais body + fyozai yuri (I thought it would make good angst, the fact nikolais biggest fear is control I wanted to play with that..) loosely based off of @beastbirthday ‘s art on twitter

“Not a burn on your body, is this even you Dostoyevsky?”

    ..

“Place your fingers here, no longer deny my resurrection. Stop doubting and believe.”

    Summary

Nikolai wants to see Fyodor at his most human, at his most exposed. So he gives Fyodor an aphrodisiac, Fyodor has a hard time expressing his feelings and he's a pathetic loser (everyone boos)

"Just leave a demon to his demons, Kolya."

    ...

"Demon to his Demons, hm? Are you saying that your feelings are demons as well? That your feelings are just as sinful and bothersome as mine?"
