“Do you miss it?” Gorgug asks. Ice leaks into Fig’s stomach.
“Miss what?”
Drinking? Drugs? The burn of tequila down the back of her throat? The smoky-sweet haze settling under her skin until she feels liquid and calm? The buzz at the back of her head, but one she can control; one she can ride out like a surfer on a ten foot wave? Feeling human and likable and electric and real?
Yeah. She misses it.
“Performing,” Gorgug clarifies.

Summary
Following around her mom or Lilith in a stuffy, southern Connecticut hospital was not how Luz imagined spending the majority of her summer before starting college in the fall. She still needs to figure out what she's even going to do there!
Not to mention the interesting people that start moving through her life as they pass through those sterilized halls.

Summary
Nagomi had a dozen different stories as to how Passenger ended up on the side of her face. A deal, a bet, a cursed rock she probably shouldn’t have picked up, a game briefly played in the cave she found it in, the winner whoever she felt like saying at the time.
The truth was she didn’t know. She couldn’t remember, and trying to remember in the days or weeks or months or years afterward just made something in the back of her head squeeze, trying too hard gave her a headache that wouldn’t go away for half an hour.
What she did know was that however it happened, it ended with her opening her eyes in a narrow cave with an entrance lined by rows of teeth, making it feel as if she were in a maw just big enough to fit her. The Hellmouth was rumbling in the earth below her, a sheer cliff dropping directly into it barely twenty feet away.(A story of Nagomi, Passenger, Psychopomps and Precognition.)

Summary
Kaj Statter Jr. arrived on the scene with a letter, a boat jammed into the walls of the Pocket, very little knowledge of Blaseball. It's not exactly a great combination for putting xir best foot forward with xir new team and life that xe has somehow signed up for, but Kaj is nothing if not adaptable.

Summary
"Next Round Of ILB Draft Decided," the headline reads. The picture below is a young woman, long dark hair splayed out behind her as her bat makes contact with a fastball. She’s wearing a jersey Margo doesn’t recognize, but xe knows she moved out west a couple months back. Nevada somewhere.
“Are you, by chance,” Beck starts, squinting at xem, “related to anyone named Nagomi?”
“Well, shit,” Margo mutters, leaning down to look at the paper a little closer. “She didn’t tell me she was moving up to the big leagues.”
(What if Nagomi and Margarito were twins and, despite everything, they survived a decade of horror and trauma? A story about life and loss and family, and the Boston Flowers.)
