"Hopefully he’s gotten his point across. It’s something they’ve come to know about Yamada. He’s loud, a talker, and prefers to meet them at places that aren’t his house. Every time he or Oboro suggests meeting him there, he gives them plenty of reasons why they can’t. It didn’t take long for him to stop suggesting it, but Oboro always left the option open to their friend."
After passing their finals, Oboro comes up with the idea to hang out for the day. However, they just need to ask Yamada if he's ok with the impromptu trip. Only problem: Yamada hates when they go over to his house.

Summary
Nine discovers the remnants of the apocalypse in Universe 329, where civilization is slowly building back up again. He meets an alternate version of Silver the Hedgehog who happily guides him through the world- but things soon turn sour when he finds this world's Sonic and Shadow. Confusion is shared, attempts to understand one another fail, and he winds up with in the medbay before the 5 hour marker.

“It’s not a real kid, Chase.”
Chase is technically underage, he’s a year away from being able to drink but the bartender didn’t bother to check his ID. Chase has always looked a little older than he was, it works in his favor now.
Nobody at a hero bar like this would assume he was so young.
“How the fuck do you think that?” Chase asks, spits. His hands still shake with the memory of it. The beer in his hand shakes with the tremors of his hands. “How the fuck do you do it?”
Mechaman sighs, deep, disappointed. He leans back, taking his whiskey with him.
The rest of the Brave Brigade was downstairs, drinking in victory, dancing with the other heroes, celebrating.

H'zashi's feathers stood on end, blood boiling at the fear in the fledgeling's eyes, the way their running was flagging even though their breathing still came way too fast— He flew forwards, covering the remaining distance and swiftly whirling around the little Green, placing himself between them and their pursuers, wings spread wide. He put one wing back to cover them.
Internally, he both cooed and cried when Green's hands immediately grabbed onto him, tucking close.
