Summary
Chance Perez has always found the cheerleaders captivating. He had chalked it up to ‘puberty and his supposed attraction to girls’ or whatever. But deep down, he knows it’s not really the girls. It’s the way they dance around in sync and yell fun little cheers with bright smiles. And don’t get him started on their sparkly pompoms, the girls use them as an extension of their arms so easily. It’s sort of like how Chance treats basketball, honestly–
“Chance! Eyes on the ball!” his coach yells from across the court.
Right. Basketball.

Summary
“Uh, this is Vickie.” Robin gives sort of lame jazz hands in Vickie’s direction and Vickie laughs into her hand.
“It’s nice to meet you all,” she waves and looks back at Robin, who inches closer until the two of them are touching arms.
“Well this is it,” Robin whispers, albeit terribly. “She’s….mygirlfriend.” she says the last part all jumbled up and quick, barely coherent enough.
Mike short circuits.
What?

Robin comes out to the group, Mike freaks out about it.

Summary
"Chance bit the inside of his lip. Truthfully, part of him believed Jason’s Hellfire theory was a desperate story fueled by the grief of losing Chrissy, but the more Chance watched Hawkins fall apart, literally, the more he felt his old logic snap into place. Maybe Jason had been right, the town had a wound and something crawled out of it, something that hid in plain sight. Chance didn’t believe in revenge, the Bible says justice belonged to God or the law. But, if there really was an evil in this town, wouldn’t it be just as evil to do nothing about it? To let it happen?"
OR
After losing two of his friends in the Hawkins “earthquake,” Chance joins a church grief group that believes Will Byers is the vessel for Satan. To prove them wrong, Chance agrees to befriend Will, but the closer he gets, the more the lines between faith, fear, obsession and love start to blur.
