Summary
Tango really should’ve expected the knock.
It wasn’t surprising to see Etho on the other side of the door, a torn mask and a bloody smile that shouldn't have looked as attractive as it did. His arm was hanging loose at his side, probably dislocated. The superhero just leaned against the frame, making Tango huff out something tired. “Hey, T.” Etho finally spoke, voice sounding a bit tight. “Got room in the inn?”
“You’re so stupid, man.”
Etho, Tango, and the fact that nothing changes, even if they wanted it to.

Summary
It was quiet, Etho running his hands through his hair. A summons, from the king. Something Etho really couldn’t ignore. He wasn’t a prince, he wasn’t even the words behind the letters. Oh gods, had the king gotten a hold of some of Pearl’s letters? If that happened, there was no way Etho would be able to-
To do what? What was Etho even saying? To do…another scam? The biggest scam they could ever do. A robbery of the royal vault, filled to the brim with gold, more than any of them could spend in one lifetime.
It was like the three of them got to the same place at the same time, all three of them looking up at each other with varying degrees of excitement. “We can’t.” Tango instantly said, a smile already starting to grow on his face.
“It would be a death wish.” Etho agreed.
“I mean,” Pearl paused, eyes flicking down towards the letter again. “Ignoring a summons like that, that would be a death wish as well.” There was another pause, Pearl letting the sentiment really sink in. Then-
“It would be the greatest scam we could ever do.”
-Etho accidentally lies his way into his kingdom's castle, and worse, into the sights of the king.-

Summary
“It’s not my fault people leave expensive products lying around during a frat party.”
The argument could be made that they weren’t leaving things out, the light bulbs were kind of needed but…
40 bucks? For nothing but baring through a frat party? Joel could get behind something like that. The guy had stuffed the bulb back into his jacket along with his hands, tilting his head back and forth as Joel stared at him Honestly, he looked like any other tired college student, one that could slip in and out of a party without much trouble. “...How do you tell the difference?” Joel found himself asking.
There was a pause, the guy’s eyes crinkling further for a moment before they fell back into some form of practiced neutrality. “Why?” He asked back, stepping closer to Joel. “Looking to get into the light bulb resale market?”
“Maybe.”
“Then why would I help a competitor?”
Or, instead of ratting out a random guy with sticky fingers, Joel decides to beat him at his own game.

Etho’s problems usually stemmed from the fact that he was a curious kind of guy. He likes to figure out how things worked, he experienced new things and documents what he found out. It was never enough to hear the basic details, Etho liked and wanted to get dirty himself.
In other news, Joel has recently gotten a tongue piercing.
And Etho had never kissed someone with a tongue piercing before.

Summary
Joel was wearing his stupid see-through-paper-thin t-shirt again. Etho swore to god that he had thrown that shirt in the garbage the last time the two of them cleaned out the house, mainly because of the before mentioned thinness of the material. It had to be at least ten years old, and the fact that it didn’t have any holes in it was a miracle in itself. Another miracle was the apparent second coming of the shirt, or Joel had noticed Etho’s attempt to get rid of it and fished it out of the trash bag before without him noticing. Either way, it really wasn’t the problem Etho was having, though it did send a tiny flash of annoyance down Etho’s spine when he realized what Joel was wearing.
No, Etho really didn’t care that much that Joel was wearing the stupid tee-shirt again, it was that Etho didn’t think he looked completely ugly while doing so.
Which was weird.
Or: Etho realizes he might like Joel a bit more than a friend, and promptly spirals through the five stages of grief
