“Look,” he says, “it’s you.”
Dream turns to look at the charm dangling from his fingers. It’s white and marshmallow-like, with a spherical head that has a simple face carved into it. X for eyes, and a simple open mouthed grin. There’s a little cape, dark green and clasped together by a makeshift eye of ender. It’s clearly meant to represent some smaller, cuter version of him.
“It’s kind of… derpy.” Dream tilts his head.
George giggles. “Do you want it? I can buy it, if you want. It’s supposed to be good luck.”
He blinks in confusion. “I don’t need luck.”
“Maybe not,” George concedes, “but you don’t have to need something in order to want it. Sometimes it’s just nice to have with you.”
He looks down at the charm, and says nothing.

George nods.
The eye slides down his figure and back up, George fidgets a little with the sleeve of his oversized hoodie. The eyebrow above the eye raises. “The ad said ugly people only. Sorry.” He tries to close the door but George shoves his foot in the crack.
“Come on, please! I swear, I have an ugly personality - you just need to get to know me first,” George tries for his best smile. “Don’t let the cover fool you, I’m not pretty at all.”When George moves into apartment 4B with Dream and Sapnap, they set very particular set of rules for the apartment. What could possibly go wrong?

I literally had to stop reading so many times to laugh HOLY MOLY this instantly became my fav as soon as I was done reading.
Fluff? 10/10
Humour? 11/10
And there's not much smut because dnf hasn't gotten together YET but the fic has a perfect balance of everything.

Summary
The blaring thump of George's heart serves as an alarm, reminding him that where he crossed this line the first time there was reason. There was alcohol intoxicating his fingertips as they wound through Dream's hair, there was the excuse of a dumb college party where everyone hooks up with anyone, and there was Dream's sticky and sweet gaze on him, luring him in.
Dream's tugged away from the soft yellow glow of the hallway into the dim, shadow-plagued room, and George welcomes him lips-first.
How could this be a bad idea when Dream's lips feel like that?
Or, George's one-night stand with his least favorite person turns into a little more than that.
