What he wanted from her.To join him. Simple as that. He was literally staging this performance just for this one goal.
No matter how cool and objective Dottore seemed, this pathetic desperation to win her trust led to a contradiction with his principle: "One person, one chance". Lumine knew she stopped fit into this rule long ago, and only after noticing THIS fact out loud would it be interesting to see Dottore's reaction.
And then, in a disgustingly sweet voice, she could hypothesize that maybe he fell in love with her, oh poor Doctor.
However, does Lumine suspect that such insolence could have consequences?
