He watched it happen. He watched the bullet cut right across the battlefield, cut right through Deku’s costume, right through his skin. He watched as Deku’s big green eyes widened, making contact with his own, looking fearful, and scared, and terrified. And then he watched as they rolled back far into his skull, farther than they should’ve been able to go. His normally annoyingly expressive face had gone completely blank, eyes empty and jaw slack.

Or Izuku gets hit by a quirk- deleter bullet but OFA isn't ready to give up without a fight. Katsuki can only hope that Izuku‘s resolve is of the same caliber as his chaotic quirk. Otherwise, he might not be able to withstand the battle brewing inside him, much less the war that’s raging around them.

Summary
Katsuki and Izuku live a simple life together. They’re happy, content being on their own. Away from everyone else, surviving off of their own efforts, alone. It’s all they could ever ask for. But things are dangerous now, and with the prince missing and tensions high between neighboring kingdoms, the threat of imminent war is a constant concern. Amidst this, Katsuki’s past starts to creep up on him, threatening to expose his secrets and ruin the life he’s worked so hard to build. But no matter how far he runs, how hard he tries to get away, the past always has a tricky way of catching up. And soon, all of Katsuki’s carefully woven lies fall apart, endangering the life of the one person he holds dear. Before long, he’s forced back into the grasps of status and reputation. And the life he lived? It’s not a life that he’d ever want for Izuku.
But life isn’t easy. It hasn’t been for Katsuki, and it won’t be for Izuku. All secrets eventually come to light. And sooner or later, Katsuki will have to learn that secrets can get people killed. Especially the ones closest to him.
After all, history has an ugly way of repeating itself.

Izuku breathes hard. “—Under a building. We’re under the building.”

I can't fucking get over how amazing the writing is in this story. The author is a genius. Everything was so well-thought out. So nicely and intelligently developed. The plot, the characters, the dialogue, the historical accuracy. Hands down, one of the best pieces of work I've ever layed eyes on.
