The stupidly tight figure skating shirt is a problem.
It shouldn't be—Murph is treating the whole thing as a joke, and Emily is too, even if she has that feral gleam in her eye she gets sometimes, the one that means she and Murph are definitely going to disappear into a bathroom or dressing room or secluded hallway for a while before the show (where they will make absolutely zero effort to keep quiet, and Zac will have to laugh along with the rest of his friends and pretend he's not dying inside).
Maybe it's more accurate to say that Zac is the problem.

Max wrenches a singular shred of his sanity back from the spiritual plane. “Yeah?”
