"Uhm-hey its cool man seriously I'm just glad you're good and all…" Percy trailed off, rubbing at the back of his neck. Gods he was not good at these kinds of things at all. You know, social stuff. Annabeth would mock him for months if she were here. "Well what's your name? I feel it's rude not to ask."
The boy continues to stare at him for a few moments before breathing out:
"Aiden..Aiden Scott. Whats… yours?" Percy straightened up and grinned for real, finally seeing an opening for a normal interaction. "Well nice to meet you Aiden. The names Percy. Percy Jackson."

Percy saves a mortal boy's life from drowning. Unknowingly to Percy that boy becomes obsessed with the mysterious life saver who for some reason was completely dry after being fully submerged in the ocean.

It started, as most ridiculous things did at Camp Half-Blood, with a single whisper.
"Did Percy get taller?"
"That’s not just taller," Mitchell from the Aphrodite cabin said, emerging like a gossipy meerkat. "He got *hotter*."
Katie rolled her eyes. "He’s always looked like that. You people are just noticing because he got a haircut."
"And is that...a jawline?"
"You could cut celestial bronze with that jawline," someone muttered in awe.

By lunchtime, the whisper had become a full-blown joke circling the camp like wildfire.
“Percy’s not actually a Poseidon kid. We’ve been lied to,” said Malcolm from Athena cabin, not even trying to be subtle. “That boy walked out of Aphrodite’s cabin, got lost on the way to his own claiming, and Poseidon just took him in as a favor.”

The therapy, the attempts to manage his PTSD, it’s not really working, and this is the case in point. What on Earth was he thinking, fleeing to Alaska? As if the lack of gods here would make Percy safe to be in a ten-mile radius of anytime he has a panic attack. His issues might stem from the world of the gods, but being in their realm, not being in their realm, it doesn’t matter. The damage was done long ago. He’s the problem now. He’s the danger.

Summary
When your dad, who is also a god, and also king of the world's oceans, invites you to a party full of important dignitaries and also his actual family, you can't really refuse the invitation. Percy wishes that he could though. Now he's stuck on a quest, again, with his father's actually legitimate godly children. Limited budget, limited time, limited idea of what he's walking into. Why did he let himself be talked into this?
Triton has feelings surrounding his father's bastard child. Those feelings are mostly made up of anger. There's also a healthy dose of rage and betrayal mixed in, for flavor, but it's mostly anger. And with his powers weakening, Triton is also reliant on the demigod to guide him through the quest they have all been assigned. Once this is over, Triton will be taking the nap of his lifetime.
Rhode is confused by the demigod child. Percy himself is a massive contradiction. Born of two worlds, in so many different ways, and not belonging truly to any of them. She hopes that something of this will help him. But little brothers have a trend of not doing what's best for them.
Through this all, there is a brewing conspiracy, a prophecy, and a primordial goddess trying to claim what's hers.
