Formerly "Astarion's Alleged Devil Fetish"
Raphael promised to translate Astarion's scars in exchange for his services. There seems to be a bit of a miscommunication as to what those services were meant to be.
Or: Astarion lays it on thick, thinking he's been hired to entertain the cambion for the evening, and Raphael, oblivious and flattered, comes to the conclusion that the vampire spawn simply has a devil fetish, perhaps even a crush.

Assassinating an archdevil is a daunting task, even for the heroes of Baldur's Gate. Some inside help from 'the devil they know' would be good, if not for the detail their last meeting ended with said devil dead in his own home.
