Summary
His right eye cracked open first, groaning at the sunlight pouring through the bare window. The left followed, pulling a figure into focus – a woman standing at his bedside, haloed in gold like the sun itself had chosen her. An incandescent spotlight.
Dark hair spilling loose, long and wavy. Fine-boned features with a hint of elfin, like she belonged half to this world and half to a storybook. A bowed mouth shaped like it had secrets worth keeping, and wide doe eyes men braver than him might gladly fight and die for.
“Mister Jane?”
Awfully formal even for a one night stand.
“Did we… sleep together?”
“What? No!” Her indignation hitched sharp, umbrage written plain enough that even through the fog in his head, he felt the sting.OR the one where Jane needs a bodyguard.

Summary
It all started with an inconvenient erection and an honest question. Are you attracted to me? What if Jane and Lisbon were intimate before there was enough trust to navigate the feelings that arise? How would that impact their partnership and how they move forward both as individuals and with each other? Alternative universe from 2x11 but I retain the right to pull in elements from later episodes as I choose. Should expect spoilers through the end of the RJ arc. Partially alternative RJ arc with a few darker scenes. I can’t promise anything but a happily ever after. Expect angst. And, as the rating suggests, there are a few mature/explicit scenes in this story.
If the beginning sounds familiar, it’s because it is Drabble #3 of my story ‘Fives Times Jane or Lisbon said I Love You in a Different Way’.

Agathario have been divorced for 3yrs and Rio has never fully accepted it, until Agatha gets serious about someone else. Rio has to move and acknowledge that they're out of time and the best days are behind them...or does she?
