Agatha always felt like she was out of place, partially because of her magic. No one in her coven inhabited the same type of power as her, not even her mother, they forbade her from learning the craft and from practicing any type of magic, eventually she couldn’t handle not understanding how to control this magic that was bestowed upon her from birth.
It wasn't the only reason she felt out of place, however. Everyone in her coven was a woman, Agatha on the other hand, wasn't too sure she was one.

“Not the Darkhold,” they point at their lips. “The Dark Road.”
Agatha can only stare in plain confusion.
“Forgive me, Professor Harkness. Have you never heard about the Dark Road before?” they ask, waiting for a response that doesn’t come. “That’s the Land of the Dead beneath the Witches’ Road.”

Agatha felt a tad bit embarrassed stepping out of her apartment in her pajamas, especially when she was wearing an oversized white shirt that read “You are pigfect” accompanied by a design of a happy pig with wings. Carrying two separate trash bags at the same time was difficult, they were both too heavy, but she wanted to get them out of her apartment as quickly as possible. When he walked out, he was greeted by a strange figure who he hadn’t seen before. They were opening the door to the apartment next to his.
“Oh! Good morning!” They politely waved at him.

Sometimes they were mild, like last Friday, when she dreamt of a forest. She kept walking through it with no direction whatsoever but she did not feel lost just confused. But the most terrible ones where those in which she woke up in a cold sweat from anxiety, she didn't understand if she did in fact sleep or it was just an ilusion carried away by exhaustion.

A suggestion from her therapist leads her to explore an online world of isolated and touch-starved people looking for others to spend time with. This, in turn, leads her to Agatha Harkness, a fellow sufferer of severe social isolation with a history of trauma.
Rio and Agatha connect almost instantly, but what begins as a way for both of them to simply feel less alone slowly blossoms into something more.
