Ritsuka Fujimaru has spent the last two years struggling to acclimate back to living a 'normal' life outside of the chaos of Chaldea and it isn't going well. He's weary and the strain of trying to live a normal life is chipping away at his sanity day by day. He's in desperate need of a new purpose in life, but what else is there now that Chaldea has achieved its goals and disbanded?

It's a self insert fic. You know the drill.
Featuring a grumpy protagonist who wants mochi, clean socks, and to maintain possession of their life and eyeballs in that order, a troll-dad sensei who's genuinely trying to understand the pint sized weirdos he's been saddled with but isn't sure where to start, and two team mates who are honest to god twelve year olds who canonically didn't mature until after the handy dandy time skip.

Finished. This did not go anywhere near what I first thought. It is SO much better. Genuinely fucking phenomenal writing. Legitimately, truly inspirational in how fourth wall breaks were used as a narrative device. Absolute all time favorite.
