"So, what did you say your name was again?" Adora asks as she drops soft kisses down the woman's back.
She smiles as she nuzzles into the pillow, stretching under Adora’s careful touch. "I didn't say." She murmurs back.
"Mind sharing with the class now?" She prompts. She got so swept up in their chemistry and the absolutely devastating way this woman had about the sheets, that she forgot to ask. For a while when she laid claim to Adora’s thighs, she barely remembered her own name.
"Catra." She sighs as Adora lingers between her shoulder blades. Adora freezes her lips inches from Catra’s skin, still feeling the heat there. She pulls back, feeling the blood rushing from her face.
She's so screwed.
Fuck fuck fuck. She'd just fucked Glimmer's ex. Fuck.

Summary
There's a yawn from somewhere above, soon followed by a tired, gravelly, practically husky voice. "Glimmer, fuck… What the fuck is going— oh, hey."
Adora's attention is immediately drawn away from Glimmer and toward the owner of that voice. Standing there in the door frame is none other than Glimmer's date.
Adora's stomach instantly does somersaults.
Of course the woman Glimmer brought home is here too. Of course she's stunning. Even in the dark, it's clear she's got sharp features and bright eyes to match her unreasonably attractive voice. She tilts her head to the side as if she's still trying to make sense of what she's witnessing. Right, she's taking in this horrifyingly humiliating predicament.

Determined to somehow adjust to life as an amputee, Adora is ill-prepared for the world that awaits her.
That includes the struggles that come with relearning how to move around, the social pain of trying to interact with strangers, and falling flat on her face in front of Catra, Glimmer’s positively stunning fuckbuddy.

Summary
Adora finds the sword the first time she's in the whispering woods, and Adora returns safely with it to the Horde. On a related note, Shadow-Weaver has no need for Catra anymore, and her assassination attempt strands her in Rebellion custody, under the watchful eye of Queen Angella.
It goes pretty poorly for everyone involved after that.

Summary
Catra's life is mostly together after escaping from Hell. She has a fake business, four contacts in her phone (and one person she adamantly refuses to add), she lives alone with her best friend Melog, and she only has to do dirty work for her ex-boss/parent/monster once a month or so. It doesn't completely suck, which means it's no surprise when a blonde with an unexplained ability to see through Catra's human disguise comes along and upheaves just about all of it.

Catra is a demon from hell in a modern city of Bright Moon, Adora and her friends are supernatural investigators on the side, and Shadow Weaver is still a piece of work.
