    Or, a few days after the Emersons moved to Santa Carla, Michael stumbled upon an odd spider in a curiosity shop, which led to... unforeseen side effects. Ever since then, he was known to the town as Spider-Man—the sole protector of the 'murder capital of the world.' Little by little, the missing posters began to lessen in number, that is, until a girl showed up under the moon one night begging him to save her from the benevolent man who owned the video store.
