To cope with the stress of college and eventually his law job, Alex has taken to some...peculiar methods to empty his head. He's really good at getting himself to relax, too—until the part where he has to bring himself up again on the other side. It'd be a lot easier with a partner, but that feels like a lot to put on somebody who isn't familiar with the stuff in the first place.
The guy he runs into at the local sex shop seems like he might be pretty knowledgable, though.

Henry is beautiful—and brilliant, and funny, and… he could have anyone. Anyone at all. Yet, for some reason, he’s here—with Alex; and that’s something he would never take for granted—ever, but especially with the circumstances being what they are. Alex knows that he probably didn’t do a good job of showing it in the beginning, but he truly doesn’t take any of this lightly—he knows what a risk Henry is taking, not only with his career, but also how much he has to fight his own personal morals in order to let this continue. Yet, he’s here, still—and… fuck, Alex is in love with him. It’s nothing he’s dumb enough to voice yet, or any time soon—but he does. God fucking help him, he does.

He’s hallucinating - maybe still drunk when he wakes up - because when he opens his eyes he sees Henry Fox lying next to him, blue eyes sleepy and soft, creases on his cheek from the pillow.
Alex would think it was real if he hadn’t put the bullet in Henry Fox’s head himself.
