“Have me.” And by that he means for tonight, not for the summer, not forever. Tomorrow they’ll sit across from each other to eat breakfast and it won’t mean anything. It never does, the morning after; in the daylight it feels foolish to believe everything said in the night. “I’ll let you have me,” he repeats. He’s fumbling with the drawstring of Dean’s shorts and Dean lets him, leaves him trying to figure it out.
