Summary
So in the middle of Eddie’s dining room, with his brain to mouth filter non-existent (as per usual), Buck blurts out, “Marry me.”
Eddie sits straight up, looking at him with eyes wide as saucers.
“Excuse me?”
“W-well, just think about it. If we get married I can add you and Chris to my insurance policy and that solves your problem.”
Eddie’s mouth forms a perfect little ‘o’. Buck waits patiently for the floor to open up and swallow him whole.
When the ground doesn’t do as he’d hoped he realizes he has to say something else. “Obviously, w-we don’t have to,” he’s quick to assure. “But if we did it would be platonic, of course, because you’re straight and–” he pauses, praying for another rogue stroke of lightning. Anything to put him out of his misery right now. “-and like I know that I’m bi now, but this wouldn’t be like that y’know? It would just be two friends helping each other out.” He’s rambling, the words won’t stop tumbling out. “Like a friends with benefits type situation! E-except you know not those kinds of benefits! Like actual benefits! Health and dental.”
or,
Eddie is moving to Texas, losing his insurance, and marrying Buck all very heterosexually and platonically.

Summary
Over and over, Obi-Wan woke up and wished he hadn't.
Palpatine wouldn't stop until Obi-Wan had Fallen, wouldn't stop until Obi-Wan gave Palpatine a shattered galaxy in payment for his release.
He couldn't save himself, Obi-Wan had come to terms with that.
What he hadn't realized was that didn't mean there was no way to be saved.

Summary
The kitchen had been shadowed that night. He remembers it clearly, the look on Buck’s face and the flash of guilt he had suppressed. Now, in the light of day and the warmth of Buck’s touch on him, that shame resurfaces. Why did he do that? he wonders, and comes up gasping with no answer in the face of the love of his life looking at him across the pillows.
“I lied to you,” he hears himself say. Because suddenly, he can’t not.
Buck frowns, eyebrows drawing close, forehead creasing. “What are you talking about?” he asks, and it’s not sharp. It never is.
or: eddie remembers more than he's admitted to, and buck is sweet.

Summary
It’s a disaster. There’s nothing for Eddie to do now but rip the Bandaid off.
“I’vebeenlookingatyourGooglehistory,” he says, all at once.
Buck blinks. “You’ve been what?”
“I’ve been—” Eddie breaks off with a huff, and then forces his eyes back up to Buck’s. “I went to the Google home page,” he starts again. “To search the thing about the coupling nut. But then when I clicked on the search bar, the recent history was not mine, because—”
A look of comprehension has begun to dawn on Buck’s face, suddenly.
“Because I was logged in on the iPad,” he says slowly.
- in other words: the slow-moving catastrophe of buck and eddie sharing a search history.
