Summary
Alhaitham slammed Kaveh’s door open - though he regained a fraction of his senses as Kaveh shot upright and summoned his claymore with a distressed shout, bracing to face an intruder. Panting, Alhaitham leaned against the doorframe and attempted to choke out an apology... but the deep inhale he drew in that should have supported his words instead transformed into a low, primal groan as Kaveh’s natural scent washed over him.
Oblivious with carnal desire, Alhaitham barely even registered Kaveh’s movement as he slowly rose from his bed and stared blankly at Alhaitham - first at the top of his head, then somewhere behind his torso. “Um - hi, Haitham. Are you... okay?”
“Me - I need - smell -” Alhaitham grunted disjointedly.
Frowning, Kaveh gingerly lifted a hand toward the top of Alhaitham’s head - but his palm never reached its destination. Before he could stop himself, Alhaitham had snatched Kaveh’s wrist and pressed it firmly to his nose.
Lost to sudden, overpowering instincts, he inhaled deeply and dragged his tongue absently along Kaveh’s skin as his lips ascended his arm, cradling it with both hands like a precious artefact.

Summary
Ren grunts, and then a hand curls into his hair, forcing Dan Heng to slow considerably, delighting in the vibrating cry he received as a reward.
“That’s it,” Ren croons, allowing a deep groan to escape him as Dan Heng relaxes into his grip. “Nice and slow, just like that. Good.”
(Ren teaches Dan Heng something about himself, and Dan Heng hates himself for loving it.)

“I’ve no interest in killing you today,” Blade says, at length. There’s a mocking little drawl to his voice that prickles beneath Dan Heng’s skin like the edges of barely-formed scar tissue.
“You haven’t had an interest in killing me in a great number of days,” Dan Heng says, before he can catch the words between his teeth. He’s not sure if it’s an accusation.
A corner of Blade’s mouth lifts. “Why? Do you miss it?”
