Summary
Deep down, Sarada knew her parents loved each other. She felt it in her bones, in the feelings they shared. Their bond wasn't loud or flashy like Inojin's parents, who were always bickering and and being gross in public. It was quieter, it was in the way Papa's eyes would soften when he looked at Mama, in the way Mama's whole face would light up when Papa came home, even if he'd only been gone a few hours, and in the silent conversations they seemed to have with just glances across the dinner table.
But Sarada wanted more than subtle gestures and silent understanding. She wanted to see the proof that Papa could actually show his love. That he wasn't just some emotionless man who happened to be married to the most loving person in the world.
And thus, on a particularly boring Tuesday afternoon when she had nothing better to do, "Operation Jealousy" was born.

She felt nothing could ruin this moment for her, the entire year has led up to this for her, she had been worried Papas super spy mission would have ended already, but she was lucky enough for it to still be ongoing.
Of course, there was only one issue.

The mission will end and he will be sent on others. Anya will go back to the orphanage and hopefully, in a few years, she will forget she ever knew him while Yor will live on her own again and possibly loathe him for the rest of her life.
He could live with that…
