Jake timidly strums Heeseung's purple guitar pick against the strings, locking his gaze on his ex-boyfriend's sparkling eyes like he's searching for a song or a familiar melody that could be hiding in them. And oh, he finds it alright, in the warmth of Heeseung's eyes, it comes in like tidal waves at Gyeongpo Beach. He can almost feel the breeze when he closes his eyes, he strums again and he can hear the seagulls. If he digs deeper inside his memory he'll hear the waves crashing, the taste of salty water against his lips, and the texture of the sand against his bare feet.

Heeseung never forgets the look on Jake’s face when he gets a taste of the older on his tongue. The way his eyes burn so bright with adoration, desire, and a pure, unadulterated hunger as they reach a level of intimacy that was entirely unfathomable to Heeseung before he met Jake.
Heeseung places his uninjured hand on Jake’s chin, cradling it softly.

Jake groans. “I told him not to say anything!” But when looks back up again, he fixes Heeseung with heavy eyes, and Heeseung feels his heart crashing in his ears.
“But I only like being mom if you’re dad.”
Alternatively, Heeseung has been in love with Jake for over a year now. All it takes is Riki calling them mom and dad for them both to snap.
