Summary
January 1997. The morning sun of the first day of the year brings no regret, only the need to stay lost in the arms of the only man she was never supposed to have. December 1996. Feeling numb and detached from the world since her last breakup and becoming estranged from her own family, a young woman in her twenties seeks to lose herself in the anonymous glamour of a casino on New Year's Eve.
