Summary
They were Peacekeepers. Was my immediate thought. They had finally come to torture and kill me like the rest of them. I’d sagged into their grasp and let them drag me away. Relieved. They would see to my death, even if it would be a slow and painful one.
But that wasn’t right. There were no Peacekeepers anymore. The rebels had taken over. There would be no crime and punishment delivered by an authoritarian state. Now things would be democratic. Trials and impartial jurors would decide the fate of the masses.
I choked out a bitter laugh at the thought.
I’d like to see them try and find an impartial jury for me.
Just about everyone I’d ever met had an opinion on Katniss Everdeen from District 12. What was it, Effie had once said? Everyone will either want to kill you, kiss you or be you.
Well, if that still be the case, fingers crossed that first desire won out.

An imagined series of events of what happens to Katniss Everdeen once she is returned to District 12 after President Coin's assassination. An Epilogue within an epilogue, if you will.

Working as a barista at a busy coffee shop in Brooklyn never failed to wipe Bucky out. He only wanted to crash into his bed and sleep for the next twelve hours, but unfortunately, he didn't get either of those things. At least not immediately.
Instead, he found himself fumbling with the knob to his apartment. The damn thing wouldn't budge at all, not even with a hard shove. He cursed and grunted, but mostly cursed because whatever reason made him sign a lease for this shitty complex.
“This is fun,” a deep voice rumbled behind him, words slurring. “Bein’ locked out together.”
Two things hit Bucky at once.
One, his neighbor was drunk.
Two, his neighbor was Captain America.
And eventually three— when his door became the victim of a drunken super soldier just trying to help him get inside.

Summary
What if the Infinity Stones don’t work the way Thanos thinks they do?
The Snap happens, but doesn’t simply dust people--it removes them from the timeline entirely, forwards and backwards, leaving the survivors with no idea that anyone in their lives is missing, and living a different version of reality.
2023 finds Steve still fighting for SHIELD, having spent his entire life feeling as though someone should be standing at his shoulder: the imaginary friend of his childhood, who he called Bucky.
