Frankly, it’s quite miraculous that they were able to form a pack together.
There are alphas like Chan, who experiences fluctuations in androgen levels through numbness; like Changbin, who prefers to be left alone in a locked room during ruts; like Jeongin, who joined as an unpresented member and was always expected to present as a non-alpha. There are betas like Minho and Seungmin, who woke up in the morning and proceeded with their day as usual with a scent blocker on the day of their presentations; like Jisung, who’s grateful to have one label that’s arguably “more acceptable” in his life. “Do you want to tell them first?” Hyunjin asks then, and Felix almost sinks back into the couch, now it’s done, he’s brought it up.
“Tell us what?” Jisung says, looking so impatient but like he’s trying not to be.
“I don’t know what to say.” Felix says honestly, his mind is empty and full at the same time.
“Did you get the diagnosis?” Jisung says, and Minho hits him over the head, whispering something in a sharp voice that makes Jisung apologize.
“Yes.” Felix says, not looking at any of them because no matter what their reaction is, it will be wrong.---
Felix didn't expect a diagnosis to turn everything he knew about himself and the world upside down.
