Saving Sumeru together may have repaired many of the long-standing fractures in Kaveh and Alhaitham's relationship.
... Sadly, it did nothing to cure Kaveh's terminal obliviousness.
“One - one more time?!”
Alhaitham huffed softly through his nose. “Kaveh. I’m in love with you.”
Kaveh’s hands shot upward to grasp tightly at his wrists, keeping Alhaitham’s palms pressed against his face like the contact would re-ground him in reality. “I must be going crazy. I’m hearing things...”
With a slow, long-suffering sigh, Alhaitham shut his eyes briefly with exasperation. Then, finally giving in to the fact that Kaveh was simultaneously the smartest - and most idiotic - man he’d ever met, he leaned forward and dipped his forehead to rest against his.
“Let me clarify another way, then,” Alhaitham breathed, nudging their noses together gently.

Summary
"Are you really jealous?" Alhaitham asks, his fingertips blanching from pressing into the hardcover of the book.
"I am!," Kaveh is loud and unashamed, his chest puffed.
"And that is why you tried to trick me into putting truth powder in my coffee".
Kaveh's plump lips part in disbelief and shock as he finally realizes what is happening. His chest heaves slightly.
"You tricked me!" he gesticulates wildly and Alhaitham receives the accusation with little patience.
"That's rich coming from the one that put that cursed thing in our sugar bowl!"(...)
"What I am telling you is…" and Kaveh bends forward, the darker tips of his hair touching Alhaitham's cheeks, "I want you, despite you being a prick and pretending you don't want me too," his fingers close a little more on his throat now, enough this time to bring the scholar back from his stupor as he senses danger.
"Then explain to me where you have been the past week." Kaveh's voice is so soft even when he is saying the most absurd things. -

To support and love you regardless of anything. A soulmate that is connected to you not just through the heart but by your very soul.
The only downside is the pain.

"A man who barely appears in the club room once a month does not deserve that same club to send him off fondly," Souma says stuffily, but there's something awkward about his stance. Kaoru squints at him for a moment, trying to figure out what was so strange about that retort, which should have packed its usual bite, but decides that if he's analyzing a man's quirks and tells, he's gone too deep, and resolves to disregard it.

Summary
The life of a God was a lonely one.
Barbatos had known of this all along. To witness your friends disappear while you stay the same takes a lot of strength to not break down. But it's precisely because he had met these friends that he was able to be strong and live as the carefree bard "Venti." The mementos they had left for him to protect, the memories he will forever cherish, as long as he could help it, for their sake, he was going to live on.
If there was someone who knew the full extent of a God's loneliness, It was Morax. He was deemed as the strongest of the Archons yet he couldn't protect the person that mattered to him most. The memories they shared was rooted deep in his heart and for that person's sake, he decided to live on.
These two Gods whose loneliness was heavier than most met in a sea of dandelions, and from there on their friendship blossomed. Maybe perhaps with the others help, the loneliness would finally disappear and something more hopeful would rise up from its ashes.
