Summary
What he didn’t expect was to see Jisung curled up on the ground next to a piano bench, his legs tucked under his thighs, fingers twisted into a dark blue-black jacket, Jisung hugging it close to his chest. His eyes were squeezed shut, his face flushed. Strands of dark, unkempt hair stuck to the sides of his face, and his lips were slightly parted when he inhaled, burying his face deeper into the fabric. Minho’s breath caught in his throat when the ironed patch became visible, the three characters making up his name staring mockingly at him.
But… wasn’t Jisung an alpha?

He seemingly forgot where it had led him last time, letting his mind fill with those thoughts. It felt like electricity buzzing under his skin, reaching the tips of his fingers. It felt like ivy, winding around his arms and heart, slowly tightening its grip.
He heard the whispering in the back of his head.

“Not true,” Jisung says with a laugh. It’s the flustered kind. Minho can see it, painted onto the back of his eyelids when he blinks. “You waited. Isn’t that how this…” he pauses for effect, emphasising the words left unsaid, the kind of words Jisung uses when he’s feeling particularly romantic (which is, of course, all the time. Minho’s boy has a diet built on sweet treats and romance)—we, us, our relationship, our love, our star-crossed story—“…lasted?”
