Summary
Park Seonghwa did everything right.
Built the life. Married the right woman. Became the man he was supposed to be.
It should have been enough. It wasn’t.
After a car accident forces him to slow down, the illusion starts to crack. And the closer he looks, the less of it feels real.
Especially when he meets the one person who refuses to let him look away.
His therapist.
What starts as resistance turns into something else entirely. Something quieter, sharper, and impossible to control.
A glance that lingers. A conversation that crosses a line. A feeling he knows better than to follow.
Because some things aren’t just wrong. They’re irreversible.
And the closer Seonghwa gets, the more everything he built starts to fall apart.

Summary
Hongjoong thought moving into his late grandparents’ house in a quiet town would give him the peace he needed to finish his next novel. The neighbors are polite, if a little strange. The town looks like a Halloween postcard, if you ignore the hive in the attic and the church bells tolling at midnight. His gorgeous next-door neighbor Seonghwa offers him tea on his first day, and it almost feels… safe.
But there are noises at night. Smiles that linger too long. Children wearing matching stone pendants. Whispers about a sacrifice he doesn’t understand. And when Hongjoong stumbles across one of Seonghwa’s “siblings” covered in blood under the harvest moon, he realizes this isn’t just small-town eccentricity.
There’s a cult. There are rules. There are things he was never meant to see.
And yet, every time he tells himself to leave, he finds himself drawn back to Seonghwa. The one person who feels like an anchor in the nightmare, even as he hides secrets that could destroy them both.
All Hallows’ Eve is coming. The pumpkins are already lit. And Hongjoong is running out of time.

Summary
In a half-abandoned village on the edge of nowhere, two men carry grief like second skin.
One is running from the moment he pulled the trigger.
The other is haunted by the moment he didn’t.An autumn storm. A screaming forest. A shared silence that stretches too far.
This is not a love story. Not really.
But it is a story about what happens when you stop pretending you're unbreakable.
When you let someone see the worst parts of you and they stay. There is an island in the lake.
It is full of deer.
Some of them still remember your name. -

Summary
Seonghwa plays violin like he’s trying not to fall apart. Hongjoong plays piano like he already has.
Both are brilliant. Both are lonely. When the conservatory assigns them a duet neither of them wants, resentment builds—but so does something else: a fragile kind of understanding, carved out in rehearsal rooms and unspoken glances.
Somewhere between broken strings and soft touches, they begin to find what they thought they’d lost: the reason they began playing in the first place. And someone who finally hears it.

Summary
“The promise wasn’t what Seonghwa stayed for all those weeks but because he wanted to. For this coffee shop, for his customers—people who gifted him a missing piece.”
Or, a story about finding your place in the world, your passion and sense of belonging; about the powerful words Seonghwa needed to hear his whole life, yet they only caught him in the rural coffee shop after he hit twenty-five. That day, the artist appeared before him and let Seonghwa see the world with his eyes.

Summary
It was no garden of paradise, the namesake only from the former public garden the sprawling concrete prison was built over. Humans and the location of sin.
Before the revolution, Hongjoong was sent to E.D.E.N., a maximum security prison, as a political prisoner. Hongjoong was assigned to share a cell with a mysterious inmate. All Hongjoong is told by the guards that he would not last there.
That he’ll be eaten alive before he could make it out to lead his group of rag-tag rebels.
