He nodded, that’s exactly how this situation sounds right now. If he and Scott never went out that fateful night and looked for that body, or if he and Derek never became friends, or hell, if he never agreed to Deatons plan in the first place… then none of this would be happening.

Stiles had known it was dangerous to go into the Preserve at night but they had just defeated the big bad Gerard Argent. Who knew Beacon Hills couldn't be monster-free for even a week? Despite what anyone said, Stiles had never wanted to be turned, never wanted to be a werewolf. Well, he turned, but he was most certainly not a werewolf. Guess that's a silver lining?
With a new group of hunters and a pack of Alphas in town, Stiles has to get used to his new abilities while bringing his friends together as an actual pack. There's Derek, who's stepping up as Alpha and is oddly supportive of Stiles, the resurrected crazy Uncle Peter who seems a bit saner this time around, an angry Scott blaming Derek for, well, everything, a grieving and guilt-ridden Allison wanting to hang up her bow, an anxious Isaac divided between two packs, a surprisingly balanced Jackson trying to stay in Beacon Hills, the terrifying and awesome Lydia Martin wanting to know everything about the supernatural, and the still missing Boyd and Erica.
Stiles has got his hands full. He really doesn't have time to think about how hot Derek is. Honest.
