"It doesn't have to be gay," Dennis says. "I mean, one guy gives another guy a rocket launcher, there's nothing gay about that."
It's simple. It's not true. It should be enough.
"It could be, though," Mac says softly. "Could be gay."Super short scene set later on the same night as The Gang Tends Bar. Mac wants to talk and Dennis gets overwhelmed.

Summary
"Therefore," David reads, "Do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil."
"But God said homosexuality is evil," Mac interjects. "In another part of the Bible- In- In Leviticus."
"Leviticus says a lot of things, Mac. Saint Paul didn't believe that all of them were deal breakers. You don't have to believe that either."What if Mac didn't have to choose between his sexuality and his faith? Presenting a version of Mac's conversation with the gay couple on the cruise that doesn't leave him convinced there is no God. This also serves as a sequel to Romans 14:11, though you don't need to have read that to follow this.

Dennis convinces Mac that the only surefire way to prove his straightness is to sexually experiment with another man. Of course that man happens to be Dennis. Of course Mac buys into this as a reasonable plan of action.
Of course it backfires on them both.
Set somewhere in the middle of Season 8. Warnings really only apply later on in the story.
