Summary
For the unexplained and the unexplainable, the commonfolk knew to pass on a scrap of parchment marked with a black star to a scout of the King’s Hounds. Those unsightly horrors born and boldened by the night beyond the veil would be cleaned away by servants best seen and not heard. However skilled and dangerous they might be, it was an unspoken constant understanding that the Hounds served as little more than mudhaulers with a noble's title, set to banish monstrous spawns from the realm.
Ciel Phantomhive, a Hound in his nineteenth winter, finds himself entangled by fate in the form of a daemon, one inexplicably linked to the past he thought he'd been ready to forget.

Summary
When you absolutely smash the Grand Prix event in France, Viktor is entranced by your style and eager to show Yuri what a "rookie" his age is capable of. The latter wants to hear none of it and therefore is caught completely off-guard when he encounters you at the Rostlecom Cup in Moscow - He's never seen a guy in a dress before, so how was he supposed to know how to react? The image of you in a dress burns itself into his mind and leaves him irritated and frustrated at you for the foreseeable future, so he leaves it up to Viktor to fix his chances of having you as his (boy-)friend while he tries to figure himself out.
All the while you try to fight demons of your own, which aren't easily talked about, and your extended stay in Russia doesn't make staying quiet any easier.

Thorfinn barely paid attention to anyone to pick up on that fact— let alone the fact that Canute went to his school. He looked like he went to a catholic school, or a private, at least. What the Hell’s he doing at Vinland? It didn’t add up. Not with his clean image and record.
Canute cleared his throat, eyeing Thorfinn. “Thorfinn.” he said, curt. “I’ll… I’ll be seeing you.”
“I won’t.” Thorfinn replied with a scoff, then he walked away. Askeladd’s apologizing to Sweyn with a laugh, saying he’s also shy and didn’t know how to communicate with peers his age because he didn’t get along with them too much.
