Summary
Post season 2: Rose Lethe, a Midlands folk witch and Anathema Device's protege, realizes that her guardian angel Aziraphale has somehow gone missing in the past six months. Anathema sends her to London to find him, but instead she meets a heartbroken demon, and decides to play a hand in the ineffable card game that is Saving Humanity and Averting Disaster. Come for the saving-the-world hijinks and relatable Millennial OC, stay for the witchcraft, subterfuge, Greek & Norse pantheon cameos, and shameless flirting.
Note: There's a fairly heavy Crowley/OC element in this one, but getting Aziraphale and Crowley back together is the End Game, so just trust me here, okay?

Summary
The Arrangement, for all Crowley pushed it over the centuries, takes some getting used to. Or rather, as he says, “I know how to handle pain, poor regard, disappointment - Hell, whole families, generations of ‘em, have cursed my name, and those curses absolutely do sting, by the way. And blessings, well, they soothe, like a poultice, except… It’s dangerous for a demon to feel soothed. To feel comfortable. It’s - it’s not for us.”
--
One early winter night in 1100s Wales, Crowley and Aziraphale save each other from the worst versions of themselves, and inadvertently exchange gifts.

Summary
The first time Aziraphale sees Crowley dressed in black tie at a Vanderbilt reception in the early 20s, slim cut trousers accentuating that narrow waist and those swaying hips, copper-flecked burgundy hair slicked up and combed over, black silk top hat tucked under one arm, mouth tipped up in an impish grin, the angel completely forgets to breathe for a full thirty seconds, and he’s almost sure the demon notices.

Five weddings Aziraphale and Crowley attend as part of the Arrangement, and one they attend by choice.

Summary
Aziraphale was descending Heaven’s escalator, coming back down to Earth. The Leviathan could have erupted from the very floor, God Herself could have descended from the ceiling, both could have happened at the very same time, and none of it would have shifted Crowley’s gaze from his angel’s face for one single instant.

Summary
Pepper believed in peace. She believed in it fiercely enough to run a flaming sword through War herself (though War's laugh haunted her dreams, and she was sure the woman wasn't as gone as everyone thought, not with all the new wars (small w) kicking off all over the place) and she wanted to make peace happen. Somehow. Which was how she had ended up studying politics at college, after having been given a crash course in effective letter writing by old Mr Tyler throughout her teens.

Summary
Aziraphale has read every book in his shop at least once. He has reread some of his favored volumes dozens of times, has memorized whole great swaths of them. If his own words are insufficient to convince Crowley of his sincerity, then perhaps the words of others can!
(He might have the decency to ask the books what they thought of this plan. The books had been watching the two of them for over a hundred years, and certainly had a great deal to say on the matter. But Aziraphale neglects to consult them, and thus will be very unprepared for what happens next.)
Back on earth, Aziraphale tries to apologize.

Summary
Aziraphale insists on taking Crowley to a long lunch to celebrate the one-month anniversary of their last long, decadent lunch together. Not at all coincidentally, it's also the one month anniversary of the first time Crowley finally kissed him like he meant it and Aziraphale tied him to the bed and made it very clear, that the feeling was mutual.
Lunch. Nine courses. Aziraphale has a plan. Crowley has a better plan and unbeknownst to Aziraphale, he's made a different sort of effort for the occasion.

Summary
“You’re going to order for me,” Aziraphale says softly. The Ritz bustles around them in the midst of the dinner rush. “The usuals, and then I trust you know what I’d like off the specials.” He unfolds the napkin on his plate tidily onto his lap. “Six courses, please.”
Crowley’s sweating, his thighs clenched, his fingers clawing the tablecloth as he bites back the obscene moan building in the back of his throat.
“Angel,” he chokes out, “I can’t— when I’m like this— six courses— ”
“You can,” Aziraphale says. His voice is mild but his gaze is piercing. Crowley gulps. “And you will, my dear boy. For me.”

Summary
Oh, this was a bad idea. It was a really, really bad idea. It was a let’s-raise-the-Antichrist-together kind of bad idea, but much, much worse. The kind of bad idea that would probably earn him “extreme sanctions”, or at the very least eternal torture in the deepest pit Head Office had to offer. But then, the world was ending soon, anyway. A wide, snakish smile spread across his face. What the Hell? If you were going to go out, you might as well do it in style.
In short: Muriel asks Crowley to thwart Aziraphale (and the Second Coming), so he does the only reasonable thing and takes Satan’s place at the top of the demonic hierarchy. Ruling Hell should be easy enough—the Archfiend spends most of his time holed up in his throne room while the Dark Council carries out his orders. Then again, Crowley’s plans have a slight tendency to backfire on him. And to top it all off, there’s the matter of his Arrangement—er, Contract—with Muriel.
At least Satan's having a good time.Bookmarked by iceboxplums
