Summary
Two years after Tommy escapes his fate of being stabbed by the dreaded Karl Murphy in the elevator. He manages to recover from his injuries and survives the ordeal. Now, he seeks a place far from Brooklyn, New York so packing what little belongings he has and travels the world until his motorcycle breaks down in the town of Simi Valley, California. Nearly running into a kid by the name of Billy a highschool student with bi polar issues and who just so happens to have a crush on his teacher.
After being rejected by Miss Stevens, Billy seeks out Tommy and the two strike up an odd friendship that blossoms. However, just when Tommy thinks his troubles are over things become complicated when Tommy runs into the very man who he tried to escape in his past. Karl is back and he is dying to finish what he started.
