Summary
Being reborn as a, formerly, not existing character in your favorite franchise sounds great, especially if you get a wish, receive magic, and can keep your memories of the books. Very convenient! It probably makes it better when you're older than the Golden Trio as the firstborn in your family, and sort of family to the main character.
Well, it is thrilling, and I'm not complaining about the chance I've been given after reading about it so often in my adult life. It's just that I get a feeling of absolute dread and guilt when I think about whether I should just follow the 'easy' road and let everything run its course, or change things to make life better for many people. But then I risk being killed or worse because somehow someone figures out I know what will happen or thinks I'm a seer if I'm not careful. There are just so many unknowns I'm not prepared for. I want to live happily with magic, but Voldemort's regime will restart in a few years, I just don't know what to do: Be a bystander or actively participate.
But then I met Lily and James Potter, two amazing souls who take risks to help others. I just had to try something, no matter how small it was and how much I felt it was useless.
