Summary
Most days, Phainon is vaguely, tangentially aware he’s a pretty popular guy. It’s kinda hard not to be when you’re saving the world on the regular. Hell, even his superhero friends think he’s a decent guy to be around! Just ask Castorice, who he has frequent movie nights with, or Aglaea, who’s literally his mom-sister-aunt-something, or Anaxa, who… actually, he would probably throttle Phainon if he heard him call him a superhero, so never mind.
All this to say — he’s generally a likeable guy, right? Then why doesn’t Kingslayer — The Dusk, The Vengeance, The Great Champion of Kremnos — like him?

Summary
It is not even a quint later that Anaxa realized that no one was going to come running – the crisis has already found its way into the Grove and now he had to deal with it. The problem in question being a half-naked man one head bigger than him, red markings over his entire body obvious due to his sparse clothing, a red himation trying its best to keep up a sense of decorum and failing spectacular. And, of course, the dromas in the room. Phainon, who had latched onto the man’s arm like a man drowning might do to a lifeline, his metaphorically tail wagging behind him, using his hands and feet to gesture around largely and throughout this spectacle of folly somehow managing to have at least one limb attached to who could only be Mydeimos at all times.
With Kastrum Cremnos joining forces with Okhema, Anaxa finds himself stuck with a lovesick Deliverer on one hand and an equal infatuated, if more restrained, Crown Prince on the other. Yet Anaxa still can’t help but adopt every traumatized orphan put in front of him – at least Mydeimos fits in perfectly with their ragtag group of “doomed by the prophecy but who believes in fate anyway?” heretics and heretics to be.

Summary
Wally West, placed on the Central City Lightning of this inspired NHL, is a cocky, bratty center who struggles with impulse control, feelings of inadequacy, anxiety, an aggressive father, and raging fear of abandonment. On the Coast City Lanterns, Kyle Rayner is a level-headed, focused all-position-player who, when around Wally, turns into a hot-headed, frustrated (in all meanings of the word) artist with a wild imagination, in turn struggling with his focus, wanting to make his mentor/Hal proud, fear of attachment, and his own melodrama.
The first two chapters are/will be nearly identical to the first two episodes of Heated Rivalry, but after those two, it keeps a few things from the show and chucks the rest.
Read tags before each chapter---although it never gets especially explicit, it does have a few content warnings for things like panic attacks, graphic injuries, domestic abuse, mild smut, etc.Enjoy :]
