It’s just that when he had looked at the time on the clock that hung in the common room wall and had realised Dorcas must be waiting for him at the pitch to practice the new Quidditch moves she’d discovered and promised to teach him, Sirius had instinctively stood up, given Remus a short kiss on the lips, and had been about to turn around to walk out when it hit him.
