Summary
The boys come back to Hogwarts after summer circa 1975, and Remus' new prefect status isn't the only thing that's changed about him. As the days go on, everyone grows increasingly worried, and even Peter seems to notice something is different.
Whilst Remus is adamant that he is "Just fine, thank you very much", he can't help but seek refuge in the arms of his protective, dramatic, and- yes- beautiful best friend, Sirius Black.Fast-paced get-together fic where Remus is sad and edgy and everyone else is very confused.
This does get pretty heavy, hence the angst tags, so do look after yourselves, and do not read this if it will be harmful to you.

edit 29k words later: the first chapter is short and not that great, i'm gonna rewrite that at some point if i remember, but it picks up after that, i promise! in terms of both chapter length and writing quality!! ok thanks bye lol
