He knew that his brother was gone to this world, that he was dead, that whatever came back in his place was someone —no, something— else entirely.

    "Dreams where we do things," Neil murmurs, trying not to jumble the words together in his mortification, "that we don't really do in real life."

    "What?"

    Or, when a trip to the Patagonian countryside with the original Foxes highlights their relationship's unintentional chastity, Neil starts having sex dreams about Kevin. From thereon, things only get more complicated.

    This journey was so intense and I felt a lot of things while reading what Kevin, Andrew and Neil were doing and feeling.
    In my opinion, the characters were very well written and their personalities match with the original work, while also going beyond and showing them as more mature and older beings, figuring out a relationship together.
    It made me really happy to go through their days with them.. thank you Author for sharing this with us ♡

    This story right here? Amazing.
    I just LOVE how in here we have such a different path here, where Neil doesn't go to Palmetto. He is a Raven and keeps being a Raven (at least until now, chap 13).
    Also I'm adoring how we got to see Andrew's "pov" (not really a pov, but the narrative of some chapters focus more on him and his inner thoughts and I think this is amazing, since Andrew is such a complex character, so I like to see his side).
    The descriptions and Neil's/Drew's inner thoughts and emotions is so well done and makes so much sense. And them kinda being childhood friends??? Chefs' kiss!
    I really couldn't stop reading (which is AMAZING but also I have so many things to do on college, but I just kept going and reading and only stopped 'cause I reached the last chapter available *cries*). Everything is amazing. I feel like the things the characters have been and are going through makes sense, it's not just some violence so they have a bad past. No, it makes them who they are and impacts on how they think and act, which is so important and sometimes authors forget about it.
    I'm very happy I found this story and I'm looking forward to how things are going to turn out.

    I'm loving this story.
    It's amazing how the author is able to construct the character's personality making sense with the different events that take place here, but also keeping part of that personality that we all know from AFTG.
    I think that the character's actions make a lot of sense and their pasts indeed have impact in how they think and act, which is realistic and great to read.
    Also, it's so nice to think about how it would be if Neil had acutally been sold to the Moriyamas and how the story would be so differente, which is what we have here! I'm really looking foward to keep up with how Neil's future will be (kinda) without Kevin and with a relationship with Andrew that started differently from AFTG.
    Moreover, the story is so well writen without being hard to understand (since English ain't my first language), which makes me very happy.
    Lastly, I love Jean's parts where he is just there complaining or saying something in French, very cute, and I always adore to see how Neil and Andrew are developing themselves and understanding their boundaries.
