Euijoo switches to Korean. “Okay, listen. You’re going to laugh.”
There’s a noise of confusion over the line. “What? All of a sudden?” Fuma has switched to Korean too, sounding like he’s already suppressing laughter.
“I don’t want to be overheard,” Euijoo says, “by the scary beautiful cashier.”
There’s a particularly loud clatter, as if a plastic crate had been precariously balanced on someone’s knee and then knocked to the floor by a violent flinch. Or something.
Euijoo never stays up late. Then he meets the night shift konbini cashier.

Gyuvin groaned again. His hand gripped the doorknob and his eyes rolled back into his skull. With a long exhale, Gyuvin opened the door and his eyes.
“Do you have any towels?” asked the most beautiful man Gyuvin had ever laid eyes upon. Gyuvin blinked. Did an actor step out of his television? Was he dreaming? Did he fall asleep watching the TV? Did his eyes roll too far back into his head? He wanted to pinch himself, but Gyuvin felt as if that’d be a bit strange, maybe disrespectful.
There's a pretty stranger who moves in next door. Gyuvin isn't sure how to handle it.

Turning to the nearest camera, Jake took a deep breath. And then he winked. Smiled. Hoped he wasn’t going to regret this later.
