The door to Ralsei’s room pushed open, Kris and Susie immediately met with the sight of a soft, translucent material draped over the mirror, covering nearly its entire length.
"I didn't want it to get dusty," Ralsei rushed to explain.
“Seriously, do you not like it or something?”
Kris glared at him, red flames dancing up and down as they regarded Ralsei’s distressed stance, though their face remained carefully dulled. A pang of guilt quivered his insides anyway.
“No! No, not at all! I appreciate it, truly,” He bit his lower lip, rocking back and forth on the soles of his feet. “It's simply… tough… for me to bear the reflection.”
Kris and Susie bring a mirror to decorate Ralsei's room.

kris wakes up with a fever and is forced to stay home by toriel. they're a little bummed because they won't be able to see susie or go to the dark world, but it's whatever. so imagine their surprise when their door is slammed open by susie—who looks like she ran there.
OR: susie skips school to take care of a sick kris.
