    Summary

    Humans have survived many catastrophes to get here: the destruction of their home world, the generations-long Exodus through space in their flying ark-ship Atlantis, encounters with dangers too numerous to count, and the melding of their people with another refugee race, the Magicals. But Landing and establishing a colony on Novelle was just the start of their struggle to survive… lucky thing, really, that they brought sentinels and shamans with them.
