Summary
After very nearly dying thanks to the idiocy of Thorin-bloody-Oakenshield and getting adopted by every noble, dragonslayer and elf in the Lonely Mountain, it's safe to say Bilbo Baggins might be feeling the stress. Even more so after being 'promoted' to assist in relations between the races. Hobbits were rather good at politics, after all.
It's a good thing she has her dwarves to cheer her up after dragging her halfway to the pit and back!
Or;
Bilbo Baggins has put up with quite enough nonsense from dwarves and orcs. It's a good thing she loves them enough to allow them to throw a belated winter celebration!

Summary
Beorn's halls are a pleasant break from the madness that is going on a quest to retake Erebor, all things considered. Sure, Bilbo still has to deal with an entire company of dwarves, a meddling wizard and an overly enthusiastic bear-Man who insists on calling him a "plump little bunny", but it could be worse, right?
But then his dwarves start asking him questions.
Oh Yavanna.

Summary
Bilba "Bell" Baggins decides she's waited quite long enough to take her mother's advice and stories to venture west for an adventure of her own. She never could have imagined finding herself in Ered Luin and adopted by a trio of dwarrow in her wildest imaginations, let alone get dragged into the utter madness of a quest to reclaim lost homeland!
But not all is what it seems. Plagued by visions of things and places she can't possibly begin to understand, Bilba comes to realize there is far more at stake than meets the eye, and even greater forces at work than any of them can imagine. Destined for the Lonely Mountain, it becomes clear that Someone is intent on preventing the Line of Durin from falling, and she appears to be the messenger.
Oh dear.
AU, Pre-Quest, Nori/Bilba.

Summary
The first time Nori had met Bilbo Baggins-Took, it went without saying that it could definitely have gone better. It could also have gone worse, to be fair. The first time they had met one another without the pretence of being thieves in the streets of Ered Luin, the cheeky Hobbit had the audacity to dangle Nori’s stolen pipe from his fingers, offering the dwarf a jaunty wink before pocketing it from across his aunt’s dinner table.
Things only improve since then.

A canon-divergent fix-it fic. In a roundabout sort of way.
