They never broke their movie nights schedule each week on Fridays. Never mistook each’s turn in choosing said movie, – a decision Ashlyn came across from the amount of times they’d argue and disagree with each other’s choices – which was currently Aiden’s, whom out of all existing movies, picked Frozen’s first to make do.
Did they seem childish for sticking to such schedules? Yes sir.

Aiden felt his heart beat like crazy, to the point he started to worry she’d hear it, though at this point he was sure she already did, “Ashlyn..” he tried again, wanting to at least get any signal from her before he’d get too overwhelmed, but all she did was tighten her hold on him, “just..don’t say anything, just a few minutes..” she replied in a tone close enough to a whisper, pressing her ear right above where his heart resides, focusing on his heartbeat as if to make sure he was still alive.
To that, he didn’t dare pry no more, his face was heating up, and he sure as hell didn’t want her to see him blushing madly at just such simple contact. Setting up his mind, he let his hands wrap around her, one at the back of his neck, and the other was set resting against her lower back, rubbing slow circles there, in hopes of lifting up at least a bit of the heaviness her shoulders ought to bear.

Caitlyn stays quiet for long enough that Vi thinks that she has given up on what she wants to say. But Caitlyn still manages to surprise her when her lips finally fully part and she says, “You spat on me.”
She says it in such a disgusted manner, almost spitting the words out in between them just like Vi had spat on her. It makes Vi laugh a little. It wasn’t like she had planned on it, it had been a spur of the moment decision. And well, Caitlyn had definitely deserved it.

Vi felt the dainty hands gently lifting her by the cheeks, she wanted to be stubborn and keep her eyes closed forever but she knew Caitlyn wouldn't let her. She slowly lifts them to the cloudy blue eyes before her.
“What you and I have is the only good thing in my life right now, whenever I'm with you I'm free from all of it, all the fucked up shit going on, everything evil in this world”
Caitlyn wipes her thumb across her cheek offering a smile but it doesn't reach her eyes. “you're the only person on my side, Vi that means something to me”
Something in her chest sinks, she doesn't know what it is but she knows it's not a good feeling. Caitlyn steps even closer, eyes lowering to her scarred lips and Vi hesitates.
