A few chance encounters lead them to some old and new friends, making the world a much bigger place. And it was all too well, but when an unprecedented menace from the north starts to loom over on the horizon with his tranny and simplistic yet cruel worldview and threatens to take away everything they have been trying to build, they are going to be tested in a way they have never been before and will have to choose between two options.

In the survival mode, they both fight with their growing attraction for each other, although their connection continues to flourish more. The flue becomes deadlier than they imagined, but they are determined to fight it and save themselves against all odds. It just needs a lot of courage, a little bit of trust, and hope to do it...

This is not only the best story in the fandom for me, but also one of the best stories I have ever read in the fanfiction atmosphere. It's sooo good that I will just say that it inspired me to write my own canon Paul story, as well. It's THAT good.

Became another favorite of mine for Daryl/OC. The OC is so good and well-crafted, with some solid background and characterization. I've always wanted to see Daryl getting together with someone like Alexandria Raleigh. It's so refreshing to see a sibling of a side character getting paired with Daryl instead of the other favorite main characters. The plot although basically, mainly follows the show's canon introduces some good twists that keep it interesting and intriguing. The quality of the writing makes it even better, with the addition of good long chapters that are filled with introspection and exploration of the characters' mindsets and emotional landscapes. This is really one of the Daryl/OC romance stories I have always wanted to read :)
