Summary
In the wake of another onslaught by Maquis forces, two long-lost androids are dragged from the belly of a captured ship. Doctor Bashir reignites a friendship with the younger of the two, connecting with that being that aligns so closely with his own manufactured makeup. As the android reintegrates into an exceedingly cautious Starfleet, he forms a relationship with Bashir that presses against the boundaries of his rigid binary processing.
