Summary
If someone had told Satoru a week ago that his impulsive choice to adopt children would lead to him standing at his front door, ready to welcome his ex-boyfriend—who also turned out to be his lawfully wedded husband—who was going to move in with him for three months in an elaborate ruse to deceive an orphanage director and a social services officer into believing they were still a couple in love, Satoru would have simply laughed in disbelief.
In which Satoru Gojo decides to adopt two children, only to discover that he accidentally married his ex-boyfriend, Suguru Geto, during a drunken episode just months before their breakup. Now, they find themselves living together, forced to maintain the facade of a loving couple. “Of course I know that, Satoru, but that’s not what I’m talking about.” Suguru sighed, slightly pushing his own bento box to the corner of their table so he could put down his arm. “That whole big talk about dying with no regrets as a Jujutsu sorcerer…did you really mean it? That you had no regrets before dying?”
Satoru froze in place, feeling naked as Suguru's piercing violet orbs shot through him with a familiar, intense gaze that he’d been a victim of countless times before during their student days. He slumped his shoulders as he exhaled.
“Nothing ever gets past you, huh?”
In which Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto finally get the chance to be honest with one another in a strange yet placid afterlife airport food court.

“Of course Christmas Eve is romantic!” Satoru exclaimed, swiftly lowering his blue scarf so he could talk clearly. “There’s lights and decorations everywhere, old-timey Christmas carols playing from old record players, and there’s the ever-so-cute tradition of kissing someone under a mistletoe.”
Suguru stifled a laugh as he glanced at Satoru’s black tinted shades. “Cute? Have you kissed someone under a mistletoe before then?”

Summary
For the sake of his friends and out of simple curiosity as to what else Kenjaku had in store for them, Satoru ultimately resolved to let the curse user’s theatrical play unfold act by act until then, despite how dumb it was and how hard it made him feel in the chest. Satoru had become yet another one of his puppets with strings attached, but he’ll make sure those strings are loose enough to be cut off at any moment.
With Suguru by his side, it wouldn't be so bad, right?
Satoru Gojo gets unsealed from the prison realm, only to find himself in the new world Kenjaku had spoken of: one that had erased all their past troubles. They never fought Toji, Riko and Haibara were never killed, Suguru never left to pursue his new ideals, and everyone in Jujutsu High lives happy-go-lucky lives with curses not being so rampant everywhere in Japan. However, Satoru is the only one who can remember their original reality and he's given the important role of deciding whether or not everyone should stay in a false paradise, or go back to their reality riddled with hurt and regret.
Will the strongest sorcerer be able to save everyone this time?
