On the moon, the feuding light side and dark side meet at Chiaroscuro to compete in duels for dominance of light or dark. In Rey's first Chiaroscuro competing as a student at the Solarium School for Solar Magic, she recognizes a terrible figure from her past and is forced to reckon with him and everything he brings up in her.

Summary
This is a playful exploration of the queer and nonmonogamous themes in The Expanse. Although the show gestures at these, they are insufficiently acknowledged. The future will be weird and gay! Genders will multiply like protomolecule! This will all seem very normal. Also this fic follows my pattern of taking a non-canonically trans character but making them trans in a way that is squint-and-its-cannon. But ey, no spoilers here beratna.

Summary
This work arose from two mirrored one-shots I wrote on Tumblr, one from Rey's perspective, and one from Kylo/Ben's. Then I started getting feedback, and now it's become a full-fledged fic.
Several months have passed since the Battle of Crait, and Rey of Jakku and Supreme Leader Kylo Ren have continued to haunt each other, appearing at random to each other throughout their days and nights. But the connection is unstable, and longing and loneliness start to overwhelm other concerns.
